Training Manager for Cyber Defense Command

Do you enjoy planning training programs that elevate both individuals and organizations? We are currently seeking a Training Manager for the Cyber Defense Command.

The Swedish Armed Forces play a central role in the development and strengthening of Sweden's cyber defense. This development is part of the overall effort to enhance total defense and the operational capability of the Armed Forces. The Armed Forces' systems are subjected to daily stresses from foreign actors.

In the Armed Forces, there is a strong value base that encompasses both professional development and personal health. Among the offerings are training, seminars, and certifications based on the needs of the organization. We provide training during work hours for 3 hours per week and reimbursement for entry fees. A good work-life balance is important to us. We also offer flexible working hours and additional parental pay during parental leave and VAB.

Main Responsibilities

As a Training Manager, you will lead the planning of all training conducted centrally within cyber defense. You will manage collaboration with educational institutions and civilian companies that conduct training specific to cyber defense. Primarily, with the help of technical expertise, you will create conditions for training to be conducted and continuously developed. The training programs should follow a natural development curve for the students.

Other tasks may include ordering training and courses, collaborating with authorities on educational issues, and providing support and participation in other activities within the Education, Training, and Exercises section.

Qualifications

A university degree or equivalent is a basic requirement for this position. We expect you to have good computer skills. You must be fluent in both Swedish and English, both written and spoken. A valid driver's license (B) is required, as travel is part of the job, both nationally and internationally.

Desirable Qualifications

Experience with the Armed Forces or another government agency is advantageous, either through previous employment or completed basic military training. It is beneficial to have experience working in a fast-growing organization and to be accustomed to working independently and speaking in front of larger groups.

Personal Qualities

We are looking for someone who is unpretentious, enjoys working in a team, and has good collaboration skills. You are structured but have the ability to take initiative and find solutions. We see you as a secure and stable person with high integrity. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Other Information

This is a full-time, permanent position with a 6-month probationary period, starting according to agreement. The work location is Stockholm. The position will involve travel within and outside Sweden. Questions about the position can be sent to cyberintresse@mil.se (mailto:cyberintresse@mil.se).
